Amaziah Guesthouse is situated in Kuruman,

540km from the Oliver Tambo  

Airport, in Johannesburg and 262km from Upington, along the

popular N14 main route to the Kgalagadi

Transfrontier Park, Augrabies Waterfalls, Namaqua Flower Region and the West Coast.

 

 The origin of the town's name is uncertain but it is generally accepted as being a variation of the name of an 18th century San-leader, Kudumane. Known as the "Oasis of the Kalahari" Kuruman is blessed with a permanent and abundant source of water.  It's water flows from Gasegonyana (the little water calabash) commonly called  "The Eye"

 Directions

 Drive in the direction of Hotazel along Voortrekker road, until you see the local taxi rank on your right where you will see our Amaziah Guesthouse sign on the corner of the double road named Bree street.

Please turn left here, into Bree street and continue for 700 meters and you will see the Amaziah  sign  in the middle of the road, directing you to turn left into Engelbrecht street, from where you will see Amaziah Guesthouse.

 You may also phone us when you arrive in town and we will direct you to Amaziah Guesthouse.
